AHPBA Fellowship

The American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association is pleased to announce three AHPBA Research Awards, an AHPBA Physiology/Biology Research Grant, supported by Ethicon, Inc., an AHPBA Oncology Research Grant, supported by Sanofi Aventis, and an AHPBA Surgical Technology Assessment Research Grant, supported by Covidien. The purpose of these awards is to provide the opportunity for a resident or fellow to spend one year of full time research under the mentorship of an AHPBA member. Residents or fellows who have completed at least two years of post-graduate training in a surgical discipline are eligible to apply. The research can be clinical or basic science, but must focus on the liver, pancreas, or biliary tree. The amount of the awards is $30,000 each. Application deadline is July 31, 2008.
