Are you interested in learning more about Cooperative Groups but don’t know where to begin?

The AHPBA Clinical Trials Committee is starting a Cooperative Group Mentorship Program.

The goal of the mentorship program is to develop a process for AHPBA members to be participants and leaders in clinical trials, and for integrating selected applicants into each National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) cooperative group.

Applicant Qualifications:

AHPBA member in good standing

Employed at an institution that is a member of SWOG, ALLIANCE or ECOG/ACRIN

Able to attend a cooperative group meeting 2x/year (Spring and Fall-may be virtual)

Mentee Benefits:

Develop skill set to navigate clinical trials process

Foster collaborations with industry to develop clinical trials

Network with medical/radiation oncologists from all over the country

Learn to develop a clinical trial through the cooperative group mechanism

Serve as a liaison from the AHPBA to cooperative groups and vice versa
